Our Green Team provides recycling education!
Our Green Team is a walking, talking public awareness campaign focused specifically on your community and made up of local community volunteers recruited by Greener Corners.
No public space recycling program is complete or will be successful without an extensive education and awareness campaign aimed at residents, businesses, and visitors.
We outfit all Green Team members with our Green Team attire, ensuring that they are visible to passers-by.
The Green Team will be positioned at high-profile recycling bin locations to direct public attention towards effective recycling practices. This facet of the program generates excitement and involvement, and provides on-site education for residents and visitors alike.
The Green Team also visits local schools, civic centers, and community organizations to promote the benefits of recycling. Our Green Team is also available to speak to students in your community’s schools about the benefits and importance of recycling, how the recycling process works, as well as to make them aware of your community’s new Public Space Recycling program. This program component generates excitement and involvement, and provides on-site education for both residents and visitors.
