Greener Corners is an environmental organization that works with communities, businesses and educational institutions to develop public space recycling programs and raise community revenues. We provide, install, and maintain free public recycling bins, educate residents on the importance of recycling, track all recycling results, and promote the local business community as sponsors of the program.

- How long does it take to implement a Public Space Recycling program?
After establishing your specific needs, a typical program can be rolled out in 10-12 weeks.
- How do we know the program is working?
Every month, Greener Corners updates your Community Impact Report (sample shown here) which tracks recycling rate increases and what it means for saving trees, water, energy, landfill space, and money.
- What is this ‘Green Team’ I keep hearing about and how do I join?
The Green Team is a group of environmentally trained local volunteers who stand at recycling bin locations to inform residents and visitors about your new recycling program. The Green Team also conducts free educational programs in local schools to further increase awareness. To join your local Green Team, click here!
- Who collects the recyclables?
We work with local haulers to integrate the public recycling bins into existing collection routes. As always, there is no additional cost to your community.
- How is revenue generated for the community?
By featuring local business advertisements on the sides of the recycling bins, we are able to sustain our programs without any cost to communities. Additionally, we give back a large portion of the proceeds to our community partners.
